ping is great but when you have this spikes 100 times a minute its difficult

use XDSL tweaked or DSL cable when I use Ultra connection I often have them :/

just try to change the scripts yourself
test different things different times and couple times.
make a nice graph about it in exel and try to figure out what your optimal settings are
